It is recommended that this appliance is professionally serviced at least every 2 years.
Professional Servicing
All work on gas appliances should be carried out by a competent person. We strongly recommend using a Gas Safe registered engineer for all servicing and maintenance work.
If any part of the gas system on the appliance needs servicing or replacement, this work should be carried out by a Gas Safe registered gas fitter.
Gas Valves
The gas valves fitted to our units are not to be stripped for re-greasing or maintenance purposes. If required, the whole of the valve must be replaced.
Regular Maintenance
Regular servicing helps ensure:
- Safe operation of your appliance
- Optimal efficiency and performance
- Early detection of potential issues
- Compliance with safety regulations
- Extended appliance lifespan
What to Check
During a service, a qualified engineer will typically check:
- All burners are functioning correctly
- Flame failure safety devices are working
- Gas connections are secure and leak-free
- Ventilation is adequate
- Spark ignition system (if fitted)
- Oven thermostat calibration
- General condition of the appliance
Gas Safety
Gas appliances should be regularly serviced and safety checked every year by a suitably qualified Gas Safe registered engineer. You should check your engineer is qualified to work on boats (if applicable) as well as qualified to work on the individual appliance.
For marine installations, the gas industry recommendation is an annual service.

Important Safety Note
By law, all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe register. The Gas Safe list replaced CORGI registration in 2009. Always check your engineer's Gas Safe ID card before allowing them to work on your appliance.
