Gas Valves & Thermostats

Control valves for burners and ovens

Gas valves are precision components that control the flow of gas to each burner and the oven thermostat. They work in conjunction with thermocouples to provide safe operation.

We use high-quality gas valves designed specifically for marine and mobile applications, ensuring reliable performance even in challenging environments.

⚠️ Important Maintenance Notice

The gas valves fitted to our units are not to be stripped for re-greasing or maintenance purposes.

If any part of the gas valve needs servicing or replacement, the entire valve must be replaced. Attempting to service or modify gas valves can compromise safety and void warranties.

Types of Gas Valves

Our cookers use several types of gas control valves:

Hob Burner Valves - Control gas flow to individual hob burners with integrated flame failure protection

Oven Thermostats - Thermostatically controlled valves that maintain oven temperature

Grill Valves - Control valves for grill burners

Identifying Your Gas Valve

To order the correct replacement valve, you'll need:

• Your appliance model number (found on the data plate)
• Which burner the valve controls (hob, oven, or grill)
• Photos of the existing valve if possible
• The appliance serial number

Professional Installation Required

Gas valve replacement is a specialist task that must only be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. This work involves:

• Disconnecting gas supplies
• Testing for leaks
• Calibrating thermostats
• Safety testing all burners
• Ensuring compliance with gas safety regulations
